Your Money, Your Future Course Begins June 4, 2015

Life is not about money — but how people manage their money impacts their quality of life, their family’s life and the life of their community. A course from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach provides the tools Iowans need to work toward financial goals.

“Your Money, Your Future begins June 4, 2015,” said Susan Taylor, Human Science Specialist, Family Finance. “In this three-part course you’ll learn how to make your money work for you.” The course covers how to understand spending, use financial management resources and build personal financial management skills. It is sponsored by ISU Extension and Outreach in Dubuque County and Bank-On Dubuque.

The course meets on Thursday, June 4, 11, and 18, 2015. All sessions are from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at Prescott Community Resource Center, 1511 White Street, Dubuque, IA. The course fee is $5 per session and pre-registration is required by May 29, 2015. To register – Call 563 583-6496, ask for Susan to reserve a spot or email – taylorse@iastate.edu There are scholarships available.
